Statistics on Supporting Social Change
I recently offered an article titled Social Media and Nonprofits Drive Social Change “If” Effective at https://www.leonardsipes.com/social-media-and-nonprofits-drive-social-change-if-effective/ .
The 2012 Social Change Impact Report about the current state of social change around the world was commissioned by Walden University and conducted online by Harris Interactive in February–March 2012. The thrust of the article was that there is great evidence that social media can significantly contribute to social change.
The infographic below documents the Walden University research and additional sources providing clues as to the effectiveness of social media to foster change.
Best, Len.
